As two of several measures to close a significant budget gap and provide better quality service to patients, San Mateo Medical Center has proposed as part of its recommended budget for the upcoming fiscal year that Patient Transportation Services be outsourced to a company specializing in medical transportation, and that industry-standard cook-chill technology be installed in its Food & Nutrition Services.
